On June, 26, 2012, we left Chicago bright and early. We were headed to Hawaii for two days before heading on to Australia. We landed late afternoon, went to our hotel, and headed out to a Luau. The kids got "tattooed", ate a feast, saw hula dancers and a fire dancer. It was fun and a good way to keep all of us awake until very late.

We toured Oahu on our full day on the island. All of us liked the rugged terrain, Banzai Pipeline, the sea turtles, and seeing how pineapples grow. This was a great way to get the kids (and Adam and I) used to a different time zone.
